FC Dallas Injury Update

Andres Escobar is officially off the injury report.

The FC Dallas injury report is starting to become fairly predictable as several players continue to remain out with injuries. But there are some lights beginning to appear at the end of the tunnel.

OUT: Kellyn Acosta (patella avulsion fracture), Mauro Diaz (right knee surgery), George John (right knee), Hendry Thomas (muscle tear).

Questionable: Michel (hamstring strain)

So really the only new update is surrounding Michel. He's questionable while Andres Escobar is not for the first time since the third week of the season. Michel is said to be making good progress and according to Oscar Pareja, he is ahead of schedule. Does that mean he'll go on Saturday? I would chalk him up to still being a game-time decision for Pareja.

Andrew Jacobson on the other hand is not listed on the injury report, which is puzzling considering the swelling his ankle had last week according to Pareja. Again, chalk him up to being a game-time decision for Pareja on Saturday as well.

Both Diaz and Thomas are also progressing well according to the team. Diaz is in Kansas City at the moment rehabbing while Thomas is inching closer to returning to the field for running and other non-contact related workouts.

With the World Cup break right around the corner, it looks as though we'll see several of these players back on the field by the end of June or the first part of July. FCD has four league games and one USOC game between now and the end of June - plenty of time for players to leave what Pareja calls the nursery.
