The hype for Saturday's game in Houston continues to grow.

Little by little we're getting geared up for the Texas Derby this weekend in Houston. We'll have plenty of items to discuss as FC Dallas will be taking on rivals Houston on Saturday.

The player of the month ballot is out for the league's website. Mauro Diaz is one of the five in the running. (Side note: He got my nomination for the Player of the Month vote by the soccer reporters that vote on that sort of thing each week/month)

This isn't apart of the article but I've been told both FCD and Portland are working together to get the two red cards overturned for this weekend. I think they have a good chance at it too.
