Not a ton has changed in three weeks for Oscar Pareja in terms of injuries. He has plenty of them to manage and they are mostly all the same players that have been on the mend since the day he took over as head coach.
Here is the latest injury report according to the club:
Questionable: Raul Fernandez (sports hernia surgery), George John (right knee), Walker Zimmerman (groin), Zach Loyd (right hip strain)
But all signs are pointing towards progression this week. According to the club's PR office, both Fernandez andLoyd were training more this week and look to be getting closer to returning to at least the bench. From the sound of things, both players status for returning to at least the bench will be determined today in training.
Elsewhere, defenders Zimmerman and John are still a couple weeks away from returning from their respective injuries. John is still experiencing some pain in his knee but based on comments from the club, he is improving each day. Zimmerman on the other hand is starting to do more drills in training with the team but the club is still monitoring his groin injury.
