We're finally at the last draft of the 2014 calendar today as the Re-Entry Draft gets back into motion this afternoon with its second stage. We will have coverage of that draft, but first let us dive into some morning headlines.

From the sounds of things we're going to get a bunch of new South American talent this winter. It should be no surprise to hear that with Fernando Clavijo and Oscar Pareja running the show.
A whopping $2.5 million will go into the city with the Gold Cup match. That is pretty impressive when you think about it.

So great to hear that DCU is finally going to get their stadium. I do want to see shovels in the ground before the real celebration on this starts. Still, this is a major deal for this club and the league in general.
There is still plenty of work to be done now that the bills have passed.
It was stadium day in MLS on Wednesday as Las Vegas also approved a soccer stadium. The deal with this one is that it has to have a MLS team in it to be built. So no team, no stadium. I bet David Beckham wishes he picked Vegas now instead of Miami.
Our new Orlando blog tackles why things didn't go as planned for MLS in Tampa and Miami the first go around. Basically the biggest reason for the failure in both markets came down to stadiums and ownership. Both had neither in the end.
I nearly didn't post this until I saw the fifth pick. Well, well, well. It seems as though this writer thinks Boyd Okwuono would be a good player for Portland to have. Not so fast my friend.
Let me just say this, FCD just won't spend $7.5 million on a player right now. Just not gonna happen folks. Sad to see the Dynamo come out as the front-runners here on this but thankfully their team still stinks as things stand right now. But I did see a report that Cubo is heading back to Mexico for the next six months, so maybe this isn't a big deal at all right now.
It is in stupid list-click form but we do see that they put Tesho Akindele, Matt Hedges, and Emerson Hyndman on here!
Well that is all that I have for now. What do you lovely folks have going on this morning?
