FC Dallas announced on Wednesday that Homegrown forward Coy Craft recently underwent a successful surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
The Abingdon, Virginia native began his rehabilitation today and will be expected to rejoin the club at the beginning of preseason camp in late January.
FC Dallas team doctor Jim Walter repaired Craft's left shoulder at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery.
Craft appeared in one game this season after signing with the club on August 1. He played the final six minutes of the regular season finale loss to Portland.
Craft is certainly a player worth keeping tabs on as we go into 2015. Either the club will opt to keep him around town next year to help his development or find loan to get him the vital playing time that he needs. We here at BDS wish Coy a speedy recovery.
