Two drafts in one day and now we get the Re-Entry Draft.

Yesterday was a lot of fun with the Expansion Draft and the Waiver Draft. We'll continue on in the offseason with the next draft, the Re-Entry starting tomorrow. But first some morning links.

John gets taken in Expansion Draft | FCDallas.com

Six years of service to FCD but 2014 was a long, tough year for the defender. Good luck George. Get healthy.

NYCFC has a system in place to compete with RBNY | MLSSoccer.com

Some solid picks from Jason Kreis in yesterday's Expansion Draft. The gamble of course is taking John. If he can return to health and his old form, that may be the steal of the entire draft, if not the entire offseason for NYCFC.

The other side of the table yesterday was Orlando and their picks. Some were head scratchers, others were pretty decent.

NYCFC land Meara on loan | Hudson River Blue

I'm not sure I like the keeper situation with NYCFC but hey, maybe Ryan Meara could thrive on the other side of the Big Apple.

Olave heading back to RSL | Once a Metro

Lots of post-draft deals like this one. Jamison Olave can be a beast when he is healthy. I think New York was wise to make this move though to get a little younger on the back line and get some needed allocation.

Lovitz traded back to Toronto | Waking the Red

Many people, including myself, didn't know who Daniel Lovitz was yesterday or even where he played at in MLS. Naturally he played in Toronto and of course the Reds opted to trade for him once NYCFC selected him in the expansion draft. Well played by Kreis I suppose.

MLS Cup saw the highest TV ratings since 1997 | Press Box

Impressive numbers considering MLS Cup was going head-to-head with NFL games on Sunday. Hopefully that is good momentum the league can build on.

Alright, that looks to be it for this morning. What do you all have going on today?
