Friday is finally here as we head into the final weekend of the regular season. Plenty to get to around these parts today so lets dive into some daily links.

Team cookouts have given FCD the chemistry they need | Dallas Morning News

You've probably seen from time to time this season photos of players hanging out in the stadium during the week. Well all of that was by design to build team chemistry. By all accounts, this group has definitely had the most chemistry that I've seen in the six years that I've been covering them.

FCD debuts new community field in South Dallas |

Yesterday was a big day for the FCD Foundation as they launched a new community field.

Timbers match will test how ready FCD is for the playoffs |

Both teams are in different modes going into Saturday but both should be gunning for the three points.

Another MLS side folds in CCL play |

SKC dropped a 2-0 game in Costa Rica, which means DCU and Montreal are the lone MLS reps in the quarterfinals. At least DCU got the top seed in the whole thing. So there is that.

Toronto sold one of their best young players and didn't tell anyone |

TFC is just going to TFC. Seriously though, the fact that TFC won't even release the name of the club that Doneil Henry is going to is messed up.

If this is the case, that was rather quick.

What to watch for in the Supporters' Shield clash |

So much on the line this weekend but none will be bigger than the LA and Seattle clash. My money is on the Sounders.

Atlanta owners urges Beckham to share a stadium with another team | ProSoccerTalk

Mainly he was saying the Miami team just needs to hook up with the Dolphins to share a stadium. No, no, no, please no. That is just a bad idea. Has anyone even seen how the Dolphins are doing at the gates these days? That would just be a terribly bad idea.

Galaxy announce stadium improvements | LAG Confidential

A cool $15 million to be invested at the StubHub Center next year. One includes a giant new LED video board, said to be the biggest in MLS. I have to admit, I am getting jealous of all these stadiums around the league with bigger and better video boards than the ones in the north end of the stadium in Frisco. Aside from the obvious roof improvements in Frisco, what else would you like to see done?

Alright that is all that I have for today...what say you?
