The weekend is finally here as we look towards the final road game of the regular season for FC Dallas. But first we have some daily links to discuss.

Scott and Daniel break down the three big points for tomorrow's game.

Back from injury, Zimmerman proves his worth | MLSSoccer.com

I still think a healthy Walker Zimmerman can do great things for this club.

Nguyen leads Revs in win over Dynamo | MLSSoccer.com

Every time I watch Lee Nguyen I get a tad more frustrated that he didn't end up with FC Dallas.

Waston proving to be a new force for the Whitecaps | MLSSoccer.com

Kendal Waston was a big pick up for Vancouver earlier this year but now the numbers are backing that up.

So what is the story now with Chivas USA? | The Goat Parade

Apparently the MLS owners (including the new ones like Orlando) have been talking about Chivas USA. I have a feeling we'll know something soon enough as to what will actually happen here.

The curious case of MLS injury reporting | Hot Time In Old Town

Fire fans got a tad frustrated with how the injury reporting for Mike Magee went down this year. Honestly, this isn't just special to one club, we experience that here in Dallas as well. MLS is extremely loose with how clubs can report injuries and some teams are good enough to be transparent about it while others opt to keep things close and in house as much as possible.

Rapids beat writer gets canned | Burgundy Wave

While we should be discussing tomorrow's game, the Rapids blog is spinning their heads as to why their local MLS beat writer got canned. To be honest, I hate seeing anyone get fired for difference of opinion matters like this. I'm fairly sure this wasn't the first time a team stepped in and asked a beat writer to be fired from the league's website.

Timbers break from Sacramento to form their own USL team | Sacramento Bee

Probably the news that we all expected when Portland formed their own USL team on Tuesday. I believe San Jose is still an affiliate with the Republic but I wouldn't mind FCD aligning with this bunch for a season.

That is all I have for now...what is up with you fine people on this Friday?
