FC Dallas on Campus: Week 7 results

A big week for the boys at SMU.

The slew of FC Dallas academy players had a busy opening weekend of games.

Boyd Okwuono (North Carolina) - The Tar Heels continue to bounce back with two blowout wins over Virginia Tech and Georgia State. Okwuono started in both matches going 80 and 86 minutes, respectively in each match.

Jack Coleman (Duke) - Coleman returned to the lineup in two straight starts for the Blue Devils, a 1-0 loss to Virginia and a 2-1 OT loss to Davidson.

Damian Rosales (SMU) - Two straight wins for the Mustangs this week. Rosales came off the bench and scored one goal in a 2-1 win over Temple. He then played 65 minutes off the bench in a 7-0 blowout over Central Arkansas where he scored one goal and added in one assist.


Mikey Ambrose (Maryland) - Two straight shutout wins for Maryland. Ambrose started in both, adding in one assist in the 4-0 win over Penn State.

Aaron Guillen (Florida Gulf Coast) - He started in both matches over the last week for FGCU. He added in one assist in the 3-1 win over Northern Kentucky.

Mark Ashby (Harvard) - Two more wins for Harvard as Ashby started in wins over Cornell and Princeton this past week.


Nicholas Rochowski (New Mexico) - Rochowski did not play in the 2-0 win over Missouri State.

Caleb Underwood (SMU) - He did not play in either match this past week.

Marco Carrizales (SMU) -  He did not play in the win over Temple but he did come off the bench and play 23 minutes in the win over Central Arkansas.

Bobby Edet (Furman) - A three game losing streak for Furman saw Edet start two matches and come off the bench in a third.

Marco Ortiz (Furman) - He started in all three losses this past week.

Victor Portillo (Liberty) - He came off the bench in a 1-0 win over Gardner-Webb.

Fernando Laverde (Central Florida) - He did not appear in either match this past week for UCF.


Kristoffer Reaves (Wake Forest) - He started and played 82 minutes in a loss to Syracuse.

Jordan Cano (SMU) - He stared in both matches last week, going the full 100 minutes in the 2-1 OT win over Temple.

Abdul Yassine (SMU) - He started in both matches this past week. He had one assist in the 7-0 win over Central Arkansas.

Will Coleman (Liberty) - He started in the 1-0 win over Gardner-Webb.

Troy Reeves (Liberty) - He did not appear in the 1-0 win over Gardner-Webb.

Cesar Murillo (College of Charleston) - He started and played the full match in two straight OT results.
