For what should have been a simple statement issued by the league and Don Garber ended up with a press conference and a lot of ranting. Part of me loved seeing the passion come out of Garber but it was certainly hard to really defend him throughout the entire thing.

I did find it a little funny that nearly every big publication and outlet online had a report about the press conference up within a hour of it ending, except for the league's website. I guess they had to tread lightly.
