MLS Fantasy Manager: Week 32

FC Dallas players should rack up the fantasy points this week.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

It's round 32 of MLS Fantasy Manager. Only this week and next week remain. As far as I know, fantasy manager will not continue once the playoffs start, though it did last year. Alrighty then, let's get started. Lineups lock at 7:00 pm CT Thursday!

FC Dallas

The Hoops are coming off an impressive 2-1 win at home against Los Angeles Galaxy. That might be just the win this club needs to really make a push in the playoffs. FCD will be riding that momentum into an away game this week against Colorado Rapids.

Who to start/add

Fabian Castillo $6.4 - HE'S BACK! Castillo is back from injury and notched an assist and a game-winning goal last week against LA. If he produces like he has the whole season, he's a straight up steal at $6.4.

Blas Perez $8.4 - Perez has four goals in the last four games with FCD. He's hot and there's no reason not to start him against a depleted Colorado defense.

Michel $7.6 - It seems Michel has won the starting job in the center of the park with Victor Ulloa, and rightfully so. He has been brilliant. Although Sunday night wasn't his best game in an FCD jersey, I suspect he will bounce back this week.

Who not to start/add

Adam Moffat $5.5 - Like I said, Michel is starting instead of Moffat these days. No reason for that to change. Even if Moffat starts, he doesn't get very many points.

Tesho Akindele $5.0 - Akindele has really cooled down late in the season. I wouldn't waste a spot at forward on the rookie right now.

Raul Fernandez $5.2 - Chris Seitz is back in action and it makes it difficult to know who will start at goalie for FCD from here on out. I wouldn't risk starting either, to be honest.

MLS

No team has two games this week. However, Chivas USA has two next week.

Who to start/add

Bradley Wright-Phillips $9.3 - BWP is leading the race for the Golden Boot and is hoping to break the single season scoring record set by Chris Wondolowski a few years ago. New York Red Bulls play Columbus Crew at home this week. The Crew should be afraid, very afraid. New York is very good at home and BWP is hungry.

Robbie Keane $11.7 - In my mind, Keane is the MVP this season. In his last three games with LA, Keane has five goals and one assist. Oh, and he got a hat trick for Ireland over the weekend. Just ridiculous. Keane is a monster.

Bobby Boswell $8.9 - One of the best defenders this year, Boswell has been one of the main reasons D.C. United have had a great bounce back season. DCU is at home and are playing Chicago Fire this weekend. The DCU defense hasn't allowed a goal at home in three games. Boswell should have a great game.

Who not to start/add

Montreal Impact defense - Toronto FC are fighting for their lives. Michael Bradley, Jermain Defoe, and Gilberto will be doing everything they can at home to score as many goals as they can against the weak Montreal defense.

Deshorn Brown $7.4 - FC Dallas will be very focused as they try to steal third place from Real Salt Lake. I think (and hope) they go into Colorado, shut down the Colorado offense, and get all three points.

Vancouver Whitecaps offense - Vancouver heads to San Jose to face the Earthquakes in hopes of squeezing into the playoffs. Going to San Jose and getting a win is a tough task. The Earthquakes are a very physical bunch and won't lay down. San Jose is playing for pride at this point and I think they just might too tall a task for Vancouver on the road.
