MLS Signs Four To Generation adidas Deals

Two seniors sign contracts ahead of January's SuperDraft.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 MLS SuperDraft is slowly taking shape. On Thursday evening, Major League Soccer announced the signing of four players to the 2014 Generation adidas class as well as two seniors.

The first four members of the 2014 Generation adidas class were released as UCONN goalkeeper Andre Blake, Louisville midfielder Marlon Hairston, Creighton defender Eric Miller and Maryland attacker Schillo Tshuma have signed deals with MLS.

Patrick Mullins of Maryland and Steve Neumann of Georgetown were the two seniors to sign deals today as well.

FC Dallas holds the number five pick in this month's SuperDraft and could be looking to add another Generation adidas player after taking Walker Zimmerman last year. GA players do not count against the salary cap in MLS. Players who join MLS as part of the GA program receive educational grants to further their college education.

Our next player profile previews on here will include a couple of these new signings, though we'll likely stay away from Blake seeing as how FCD has five keepers on the roster and all at the moment.
