Quote Sheet:

FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman

General impressions on the game...

For us it was a gutsy performance, we had a lot of people that we left at home and we haven't found ways to score goals and the field was very wide for us. I thought that Montreal needed to get something positive as well, and they came out and set the tempo for the game, we probably defended 70% of the game. The general thought for us was great courage on our part, fought hard on the road and came away with a point.

Is this a positive outcome for the team...

Yes of course, I just texted my daughter and I said, with so many players off today and so many that we left at home, the positive thing is that we're leaving here with a point. And right now we needed something positive.

Did you expect the Impact to play so much on the wing...

No not really, we were a little bit fortunate because I thought Nyassi could have really hurt us. Zach Loyd did a really good job about 20 minutes in, started really playing him well. He put some great balls in there, so it kind of surprised us a bit.

FC Dallas Goalkeeper Raul Fernandez

What are your thoughts on your team's performance...

Everybody knew the game was going to be hard tonight. I think our team played well. We were concentrated and maybe the result wasn't exactly what we wanted, but we will keep on working on our performance.

With all the absent players tonight, was a tie a good result to take away ...

Yes, it was very important to get at least a point tonight and to make sure we didn't lose. I think that even with some of our players missing, we still played well.

FC Dallas defender George John

Do you feel this was a mission accomplished for Dallas...

Half way, obviously coming here we wanted three points. We just had a seven game winless streak, so we were coming into this game willing to win but we can take away a little pride knowing that we didn't lose and got a point on the road.

How did the Impact playing on the wings affect your play...

(Justin) Mapp had a tremendous game, by far the best player on the field tonight, I had some trouble stopping him but we did a good job dealing with their crosses. It`s just one of those games in which we dealt with what they threw at us pretty well.
