US Open Cup 2013: Houston Dynamo vs. FC Dallas

Come one, come all, to this matchday thread for Dallas expatriates, and for those who are not at the stadium.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

"There is nothing else than now. There is neither yesterday, certainly, nor is there any tomorrow. How old must you be before you know that? There is only now, and if now is only two days, then two days is your life and everything in it will be in proportion. This is how you live a life in two days."

-Ernest Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls

The land that hope forgot. A land of drinkable wastewater, and a pit of depair. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Their soccer representatives, the Houston Dynamo, are desperately looking to avenge their regular season loss, and will likely play with a level of fire appropriate to a grudge match such as this. Dallas, meanwhile, has indicated that this game carries a great deal of importance to the ownership group, so expect to see Schellas field a very strong lineup.

I will be your host this evening. Sit and stay awhile. Enjoy the thrashing (of Houston).
