We may have updated the FC Dallas depth chart just a couple weeks ago but it is time to revisit it after a big Monday.
I've gone in and split it out into two different views this time. I had a few of you let me know that you'd like to see a 4-4-2 set up as well as the 4-4-1-1 set up that I had been doing. Today you get both though keep in mind, we're quickly shifting to a 4-4-2 here.
Just for reference we're only listing a player once on here - even if they can play multiple spots. We're going with the position that player would most likely play if they were 100% healthy and game-fit.
We will probably do one final preseason depth chart later this month when the team is in Portland. By then we'll know for sure who has made the team and who will be left out.

Notes:
- You see a few new names in here like Hassli and Cooper but also some of the trialist that seem to be sticking around. Wilder, Michel and Zobeck all appear to be doing well enough at this point to be included. Hollingshead is said to be joining the team next week. Nunez is a toss up as he's still a little ways away from being healthy enough to give it a go with the team. I added him just for the sake of things at this point.
- Still no Ugo Ihemelu. No new word on him unfortunately.
- Moises Hernandez is still away with the club for the year on loan.
- Obviously players will play in more than one spot once the season kicks off. Benitez could play in the midfield, Nunez would provide depth on the wings. Acosta could play in the defensive/holding midfield role as well. Woodberry could be a full back too.
- Right now the development roster (10 players, not counted towards the salary cap) is full when you add Hollingshead, Zobeck and Wilder.
- Senior roster (20 spots), without Ihemelu is right at 18 slots when you count Michel and Nunez. The club can trade in spots 19 and 20 for extra allocation (around $70k).
Needs:
- The depth needs are starting to look better by the day.
- Wing depth is still a concern though. Should Jackson or Castillo miss any time it will cause some issues.
- Depth behind Ferreira is scary unless Nunez is able to come in and be healthy quick.
