The FC Dallas homegrown is headed to Italy.

We've said we wanted to see some young players get more minutes this offseason through some extra training, but how about a trip to Italy? Well for one FC Dallas player that will be the case.

Tab Ramos has named his roster for the upcoming camp in Verona, Italy where the United States U-20 National team will face off against several European teams. FC Dallas Homegrown defender Kellyn Acosta will join a very heavy international-based squad as the group's only returning player from the last U20 camp.

The camp will run from November 10-20. The 22-man U.S. squad will face the Hellas Verona U-20 side, the Iranian U-20 team, and another opponent to be determined during the 11-day trip to Italy.

Ramos has called in a squad that is almost half based in Europe. Only six total MLS players were called in, including Acosta.
