The first game of the Italian tour for the United States U-20 National team was a rocky one at best on Thursday, losing a 4-1 decision to Hellas Verona's Primavera (U-20) side.

With one full day of training before the match, U-20 head coach Tab Ramos used all 22 players that were called in for the international training camp in the friendly against Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona's U-21 side.

FC Dallas Homegrown defender Kellyn Acosta picked up the assist in the lone US goal that Ben Spencer finished off. Acosta was one of seven MLS Homegrown players to appear in the loss.

Tab Ramos' team, largely composed of recent graduates from the US U-17 and U-18 teams, will remain in Italy to face the Iran U-20 national team on Nov. 18 and an opponent to be determined on Nov. 19.
