The Fort Lauderdale Strikers fell over the weekend to Minnesota United FC 3-1. Richard Sanchez was in goal for the full 90 minutes and Bradlee Baladez came off the bench in the second half.
Former Salt Lake striker Pablo Campos scored two goals on the night for Minnesota.
Sanchez made several saves on the night but was unable to help keep United FC off the board.
The loss moved the Strikers to 5-2-6 on the Fall season.
The Strikers will close out the 2013 Fall Season at home when they take on FC Edmonton on November 2nd, at 7:30 pm at Lockhart Stadium.
Warshaw does it again
While things didn't go so well last week for Baladez or Sanchez, Bobby Warshaw once again found the back of the net for Angelhoms in the Swedish second division.
Warshaw and Angelhoms beat Hammarby 3-2 over the weekend. Warshaw's seventh goal on loan came in the 48th minute. As you can tell from the video below, Warshaw avoided getting kicked in the head by a teammate on the goal.
Angelhoms will close out their regular season this weekend with a match against Falkenbergs FF.
