The Fort Lauderdale Strikers gave up two second half goals to drop their second straight game in the NASL fall season. The Carolina RailHawks downed the Strikers 2-0 on Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, the Railhawks' Breiner Ortiz blasted a shot in the 64th minute to put them in the lead, and Brian Ackley capitalized on a PK in the 80th minute.
Both FC Dallas loanees Richard Sanchez and Bradlee Baladez got the start in this one. Sanchez played the full 90 once again while Baladez was subbed out late in the second half.
Sanchez had several great saves, stopping close shots from both Nick Addlery in the first half and Elizondo in the second, he ended the game with three saves.
The Strikers return home on October 5th to take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Warshaw is on FIRE
In Sweden, Bobby Warshaw scored his third goal since joining Angelholms FF on loan. Warshaw scored his third goal late last week in a 1-1 draw with Orgryte IS.
Warshaw has started the last three matches for Angelholhms, scoring two goals in the process.
