Howdy folks!! The SuperDraft is fast approaching and we've got you covered on everything you'll need to know before the big event on Thursday.

There's been so much going on this week all around MLS. Least of which is the release of the full 2013 MLS schedule. You can get a downloadable copy here. A copy of the FC Dallas full schedule can be found here.

FC Dallas has some very interesting match ups early in the season but get a little help as 3 of their first 4 games are at home. Of course two of those home games are against tough rivals in Houston and Real Salt Lake. Another nice thing about this year is that we play for both El Capitan and The Brimstone Cup at home. Make sure you get your tickets early for both of these matches so you can get good seats. I'm sure both games (especially Houston) will be packed.

As our own Drew Epperley reported yesterday FCD have signed Peruvian National Team player Raul Fernandez to compete with Chris Seitz for the #1 jersey.

Big D Soccer's Daniel Robertson has an article up for about the role that former FCD net minder Dario Sala played in bringing Fernandez to Frisco.

The move actually came about with the help of FCD’s last South American goalkeeper, Dario Sala. Now an agent who represents MLS players like Seattle's Mauro Rosales and Milovan Mirosevic of Columbus, Sala brought Fernández to Clavijo’s attention, which started the ball rolling.

I think it's going to be an interesting (in the best possible way) season in Frisco with all of the new faces around.

USMNT U-20 head coach Tab Ramos announced his call ups for training ahead of the CONCACAF U-20 Tournament next month. Among those called in are FCD's own Jonathan Top as well as 3 other players from the state of Texas.

Seven MLS players are among Ramos’ squad, including Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil. The other half-dozen are all Homegrown players: LA’s Jose Villarreal and Oscar Soto, FC Dallas’ Jonathan Top, Sporting KC’s Jon Kempin, Colorado’s Shane O’Neill and Columbus’ Wil Trapp

You have to appreciate the amount of soccer talent that has come out of the Lone Star State in the past decade. Good luck to the team!

Now onto SuperDraft news!!!

You can always check out's Combine page for combine schedules and information about things going on in Florida. They also have a series of articles ranking the top 10 available players in the draft by position. So far they have up the Top 10 left backs, center backs, and forwards. Give them a read and let us know who think FC Dallas should take with the 7th overall pick.

Josh Whisenhunt has his first post up for the MLS Combine Diary today.

The weather is warm and the sun is shining, which can only mean one thing: The MLS Combine has arrived, and so have we.

It's always nice to get an inside peak at what's going on at the combine. I know I'll be following the Diary all week and so should you.

Simon Borg also has up his day one Combine breakdown and gives us some insight into the days shining stars.

University of Connecticut star midfielder Carlos Alvarez and Notre Dame midfielder Dillon Powers each registered a goal and an assist in their respective matches to claim the early headlines ahead of the final two doubleheaders on Sunday and Tuesday.

And don't forget to check back here at Big D Soccer all week for all the latest Combine/SuperDraft news and information!

And now I'll leave you guys with a cool article over at by John Christian Hageny about FCD game caller Jon Yardley and his connection with New Jersey hockey.

"The guy lives hundreds of miles from New Jersey but he still has a spot in his heart for NJ hockey."

Well guys as always it's been fun and I'll see you all next time!
