Daniel and I discussed earlier this week some trades that FC Dallas could/should make this summer. It turns out they could be on the verge of striking a deal with Toronto FC.
Ives Galarcep is reporting that Toronto could be sending midfielder Julian de Guzman to Dallas.
Rumblings out of Canada have Toronto FC on verge of trading Julian DeGuzman to FC Dallas. Source tells me DeGuzman is on a plane to Dallas.

No word yet on what TFC would get back but I doubt it’s much. Value for Toronto in dumping his salary and freeing DP spot. Del Piero anyone?

More than likely it seems Dallas would take on de Guzman but not his entire contract - where he makes $1.9 million a year. More than likely Toronto will have to eat a good chunk of this contract for Dallas to go through with this deal.
Question is what will Dallas send to Toronto? With George John hurt that seems less likely in my mind but you never know. My guess is some allocation, maybe a draft pick and a player?
What do you think is going to Toronto if this deal is indeed happening? What would you want to send Toronto for him?
