Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic - FC Dallas vs BK Hacken

FC Dallas, 2011 WDW Pro Soccer Classic champions, return to Orlando and begin their title defense tonight in a week-long journey that will see FCD take on BK Hacken, Orlando City SC & Toronto FC as well as another separate friendly tomorrow against the US U-20 side. All WDW cup games will be streamed live at

While the previous games were more to get legs fresher and trial new players, this trip to Orlando is all business as you'll likely see the starters play the majority of most games. While this tournament is pre-season, Schellas always harps on setting a culture of winning and I think every team would love to take this trophy home next Saturday night, a week before the season starts.

Tonight at 5PM, FC Dallas begins the tournament against Swedish Allsvenskan side BK Hacken from Gothenburg. Hacken has already released their starting lineup for the game and one name of note is 20 year old Honduran forward Eddie Hernandez who will be making one of his first appearances for the club. Hacken look to have a few fringe Swedish internationals and a Finnish international in defense.

What to look for from Dallas and highlights from day 1 of the tournament's other half

For FC Dallas, the starting XI should be unchanged from the side that lost to the U23's on Wednesday. That means: Hartman, Loyd, Ihemelu, Pertuz, Benitez, Hernandez, Jacobson, Rodriguez, Wiedeman, Castillo, Perez. Bobby Warshaw could possibly start in Hernandez's place if his trick knee is acting up.

It will be very interesting to see if David Ferreira is given more time in this game and it will also be fun to watch and see if Scott Sealy can make an impact in the second half. While a bad result shouldn't worry anyone, this thing is all about developing a winning mindset and I expect FC Dallas to go out and look for a win in this one.

Toronto FC & Orlando City SC will face off in the second game at 7PM, also available for streaming on

Day one

On the other, and much tougher, half of the tournament bracket last night, it was the Darren Mattocks show as Vancouver and Mattocks made Montreal pay for not taking him #1 overall with the Whitecaps winning 3-0.(Highlights)

In the other game, Houston Dynamo and Sporting KC played to a 0-0 draw. (Highlights)

Vancouver 3 (+3)

Houston 1 (0)

Sporting KC 1 (0)

Montreal 0 (-3)
