FC Dallas midfielder Julian de Guzman and forward Blas Perez have been called in to represent their countries in upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches. De Guzman will report to camp with the Canadian National Team while Perez joins Panama on Monday, Oct. 8.

Neither will miss a FC Dallas match as the upcoming FIFA date falls on a weekend that FC Dallas is off.

De Guzman hopes to help Canada leave group 3 by downing Cuba on October 12 in Toronto. Canada currently has seven points in the group. Canada is hoping to leap Honduras in the group standings. Those two sides are scheduled to meet at Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on Oct. 16.

Perez and Panama currently lead the group with nine points. Panama will host Honduras at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama on Oct. 12. Panama's second match is at Estadio Pedro Marrero in Ciudad de la Habana, Cuba on Oct. 16.

No word yet on whether or not Brek Shea or Zach Loyd will represent the US national team in their qualifying games. That roster has not been announced yet.
