It seems like forever since Dallas beat Alianza to advance through and now the home slate of the group stage finally begins as Tauro FC of Panama invade Pizza Hut Park looking for their first win of the group. This one will have to be short and sweet...

Game notes

Full strength backline Tonight should be the return of the Benitez/Ihemelu/John/Loyd/Hernandez/Jacobson combination that has been so effective for Dallas. FCD through four games still has yet to allow a goal in CCL play, look for that to continue tonight.

Who's up top? Marvin Chavez, Brek Shea and Maicon Santos are all out or ineligible so who plays up top tonight? It could be Jackson or Ruben Luna out there, though both will surely feature in the game at some point. If Jackson plays up top, expect possibly Jeremy Hall or even Andrew Wiedeman out on the right flank.

Easy Passage With a win tonight, FC Dallas all but assures themselves of passage through to the knockout round with three games still to play. A win tonight would also give FCD the luxury of being very liberal with who they choose to play in the final three games and could get us another look at some of the homegrowns.

Out for tonight No Chavez, no Shea, no Maicon, no Guarda

Prediction

A Dallas team looking to rebound from Saturday night's debacle should roll tonight. The return of the 6 defensive guys together should pay immediate dividends while two early goals will allow Schellas to bring in some of the less used guys.

3-0 FC Dallas
