Apologies for the lateness of this one, a game of this magnitude deserves a lot of buildup but sometimes life gets in the way. FC Dallas heads to Los Angeles for a top-of-the-table clash tonight against the Galaxy in an absolutely enormous match in the MLS calendar.
First place First place is effectively on the line tonight as Dallas sits three points behind LA but has a crucial game in hand. I can't remember the last time Dallas was in first place in MLS, I would imagine it was 2006ish.
Statement game Dallas has beaten the Galaxy the last two times they've played them, one was a demolition and the other was a very lucky win. It will be really interesting to see how the Galaxy come out tonight and see who really wants to take ownership of the race for the Supporter's Shield.
New Faces Both Maicon and Cruz are available tonight for Dallas and we could see two new faces that weren't even on our radar a few days ago. I wouldn't expect either of them to start, but could certainly figure especially if Dallas is coming from behind.
Lineup? Jackson is a no-go tonight meaning that someone else will have to take over on the right. Schellas could keep Luna up top and put Chavez out there or possibly Eric Alexander though he's certainly failed to impress of late.

This one is just an extremely interesting game to look at. LA was terrible on Wednesday and got throttled against Portland so you know they're going to want to come out strong. Dallas is not a team that gets beat very often and will certainly be happy with a draw. I'll go homer call on this one and say...
