Two things didn't go FC Dallas' way yesterday but one of them may be okay, depending on how you look at it. Okay, it may be bittersweet. The Colombian U-20 national team crashed out of the U-20 World Cup last night to Mexico in a 3-1 loss. Dallas striker Fabian Castillo saw about 20 minutes of action in this one but he wasn't enough to help the hosts advance to the semifinals of the World Cup.

Yes, you know where I am going with this one, this loss means good things for FC Dallas. Castillo should be back very soon now. No word yet on whether or not he'll be back in time to play in this coming week's match with the Seattle Sounders, but you can go ahead and count him in for games later this month that you possibly wouldn't have a couple weeks ago when it looked like Colombia was going to run away with things a bit.

Sad to see Castillo and Colombia crash out but in the same manner I'm happy to see him come back. Just in the nick of time for all the CONCACAF Champions League games and the semifinal of the USOC against Seattle.
