Generation Adidas Cup Update: U17s and U15s Win

FC Dallas continues to roll in the 2011 Generation Adidas Cup. The home field advantage continues to help both the U17s and U15s in their respective groups

The U17s now sit atop Group B with the win in penalty kicks over the Philadelphia Union on Tuesday (the game had ended level at 0-0). Dallas' World Cup winner Richard Sanchez returned to play in goal for the first time since winning the FIFA U17 World Cup with Mexico in this game. He helped start two scoring chances for Dallas. 

Dallas went on to win in PKs 5-3.

The U-15s had their way with the Columbus Crew by downing the Ohio side 4-0 on Wednesday morning. Goals came from Sergio Lara, Miguel Ojeda, Juan Amaro and Christian Ramirez.

The next match for the FC Dallas U-15s will be at 8:30 Thursday morning when they face Chivas USA, who defeated D.C. United 2-0 in their opening match. The winner will take control of Group A as the teams head into the weekend play before the final.
