A bit a news broke out last night from the USSF. They released the possible pairings for the quarterfinal rounds of the US Open Cup and FC Dallas will once again be at home should they get past Orlando City next week.
Here are the two possibly pairings based on the bracket and the schedule the USSF released last night.
July 12 at 7pm CT against either Real Salt Lake or Wilmington Hammerheads (USL PRO)

On the other side of things, assuming MLS teams making it through, New York and Chicago should meet in the quarterfinals while the Columbus Crew and Sporting Kansas City could meet in the other match.
I think it's great news that FCD is able to host the next round in this competition. Let's hope that the club is able to move on and continue hosting here. It looks as though the semifinal could end up being either against the Los Angeles Galaxy or the Seattle Sounders, depending on who goes through in those pairings (both LA and Seattle have PDL teams in their way at the moment).
Teams bid on the right to host games in this tournament. Dallas may want to hope that Seattle falls in this competition somehow as getting hosting rights away from them won't be easy.
