Kevin Hartman 8.5(Man of the Match)- I thought El Gato was in top form last night. He didn't have to stop a lot of shots, but how many times did Bobby Rhine say "Hartman quickly off his line..." Kevin made excellent decisions and tallied his third straight birthday shutout
Jackson 5 - Worst player on the field for Dallas yesterday, in my opinion. For some reason, the Brazilian right back just insists on trying to dribble out of danger rather than boot the ball into Row F and it nearly cost Dallas on multiple occasions. It really seems like he's either awful or amazing, kind of the opposite of Zach Loyd
Zach Loyd 7- Nice performance from the Oklahoman. Nothing amazing, but another shutout. You can't complain about that.
George John 7- Had a couple of shaky moments, overall a quiet solid game on his homecoming.
Ugo Ihemelu 8- This guy is really amazing when he's 100% healthy. Reads the game incredibly well and pairs perfectly with John's size. Time and again cut out passes and marked Montero out of the game.
Daniel Hernandez 7- Good play from the captain. I'm not sure he crossed the halfway line once in the game, but Danny complemented the defense well and did his job. It's amazing how much of a gamer this guy is...definitely the Jason Kidd of FC Dallas.
Andrew Jacobson 7.5- An extra half point for his moment of magic pass to Brek Shea. I'm not sure Jacobson will hit a better through ball in his life. Not a lot wrong on the night.
Eric Alexander 6- Did he play last night? Can't complain about anything, but can't praise anything either.
Marvin Chavez 6.5-The speedy Honduran had a very quiet first half, but got better as the game went on. Just missed a goal in the second half and tracked back very well defensively.
Brek Shea 7.5- Shea had two chances on the night and scored one of them. You wonder how he finds any space at all right now as he's really the only guy on FCD that is going to hurt you at this point.
Fabian Castillo 5.5-I have trouble holding things against him as Castillo is not a center forward, but it's not coming off right now for the Colombian. Castillo really needs to learn that sometimes the best pass is backward.
Ruben Luna 6- Did a better job than Castillo at holding up the ball, but wasn't able to create any chances. Hopefully USOC is what Luna needs to get his confidence back.
