While we wait impatiently for CONCACAF to release their "draw" of the Champions League, now is as good a time as any to take a quick look at how the Academy is doing in the US Development Academy.

U18

With four matches to play, the U18 Academy is tied with Lonestar SC of Austin for first place in the division. Dallas, however, has a game in hand on Lonestar and has four games left to play in the season against Andromeda(twice) in 5th place, Classics in 7th place and Solar in 4th place.

Since returning to Academy play in April after a long winter layoff, Dallas has defeated Lonestar 2-1, tied Dallas Texans 1-1, defeated Houston Dynamo 1-0 and last weekend beat Texas Rush 5-1.

Things are looking good for FCD to win the U18 Texas Division for the second straight year. If they slip up and Lonestar overtakes them, the U18's will certainly get a wild card spot to the Development Academy playoffs which take place right here in Frisco in late June.

Daniel Garcia and Jonathan Top lead the way in scoring for FCD while Jack Coleman and Moises Hernandez anchor the defense.

Keep reading for U16

U16

The under-16's aren't faring as well as the U18s and sit in 6th out of 9 team Texas Division. However, FCD U16 are just barely out of a Wild Card spot and with a couple of wins in their last four games could sneak into the playoffs. It's been a rough couple of weeks for the U16's losing their last two games to Texas Rush and Houston Dynamo.

Three of Dallas last four games are against the bottom sides in the division(Andromeda and Classics Elite) so Dallas is still in decent shape to grab a playoff spot and see what they can do at home in Frisco.

Upcoming

This weekend the U18's and U16's take on Andromeda on Saturday at 1200 and 230 in huge matches being played at Greenhill School on Spring Valley in Addison.
