After a six-point week, you'd expect some praise for your club. In the case for FC Dallas that praise is coming in left and right. MLSSoccer.com released their team of the week for week 9 and FCD is well represented on it with three players.

Kevin Hartman, George John and Fabian Castillo lead the team of the week. Below is the blurb about each guy.

GK: Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas) - Although he experienced a quiet night against Philly on Saturday, Hartman's seven saves against Toronto FC in midweek were essential in another FCD shutout. That's now three clean sheets in a row in league play.

DF: George John (FC Dallas) - A ball magnet against both Toronto FC and the Philadelphia Union, John's stock continues to rise together with his ranking in the MLS Castrol Index (No. 8).

FW: Fabián Castillo (FC Dallas) – His manager, Schellas Hyndman, says the 18-year-old Colombian is already justifying the club’s investment. And he showed his ability to bounce back from a subpar performance in midweek vs. Toronto FC to register a goal and an assist in just 67 minutes of action against the tough back line of the Union.

This marks the first time this season that FCD had three in the team of the week. The last time FCD had a player in the team of the week was back in Week 4 with David Ferreira. Zach Loyd also made the group all the way back in week one. Still no love for Schellas Hyndman though as he has yet to be named as the coach of the week.
