FC Dallas produced a fantastic second half performance to come from behind in Vancouver to beat the Whitecaps and take 3 points home to Frisco.

Alain Rochat's 25th minute header put Vancouver in the lead while Dallas had a golden chance to equalize soon after through a penalty kick, but his shot went wide and FCD went into the half down a goal.

Schellas Hyndman made a key change at halftime bringing on Milton Rodriguez for Fabian Castillo and was forced to make another substitution early in the second half as David Ferreira went down with an apparent ankle injury forcing Eric Avila on the field.

From there, FCD would respond with their "refuse to lose" mantra getting second half goals from George John and Avila to take all three points in a key, confidence building win for Dallas

Refuse to lose It's been a long time since we saw that refuse to lose mentality and it was back tonight. FCD could have very easily packed it in after Ferreira's injury and limped back to Dallas with nothing, but the veterans on the team stepped up.

Shea back to midfield Wow, how much more dangerous does the Dallas attack look with Shea in the midfield. It's really night and day out there with his size, speed and touch compared to the smaller options. We've got some smart readers here on Big D Soccer who have been calling for this since the season started.

A lot of credit to Schellas We'll talk about this more indepth in Tactics Corner, but Schellas made some really nice adjustments in the second half to secure the win for FC Dallas. Moving Avila to right mid, bringing in Milton, bringing back Jackson...just about everything worked out for Schellas tonight.

Pray for Ferreira Tough to know the extent of his injury right now, all we know is he was on his way to the hospital for x-rays. It doesn't seem like an end of season injury, but I wouldn't expect to see El Torito back for a month or so.

Lots more in the coming days on this victory, but I think it's safe to say this 3 points is just huge for Dallas heading home with four of the next five at Pizza Hut Park.
