FC Dallas continues training indoors today. (via FC Dallas's facebook page)

It's day 3 of the lovely ice storm here in Dallas. Technically the ice only came on Tuesday but seeing how temperatures haven't reached above freezing the ice still lingers everywhere. For that reason practice for FC Dallas is indoors still.

It's time to take a look around the internet at some FC Dallas related stories. (More after the jump!)

Preseason Training: Feb. 3 (Note you must have an account w/ Facebook to view photos)

Dying for some FC Dallas related material today? Look no further than to this gallery of practice photos from today. The club has been training indoors at the Frisco Fieldhouse. Looks like the team was doing more drills today than the small sided games that they took part in yesterday.

Hernandez wants to fight for spot with FCD, US | FC Dallas

A nice look at Academy standout now first teamer Moises Hernandez. The young kid wants to battle it out for not only FCD but for the US Men's National team. Honestly from what I've seen out of this kid there is no doubt in my mind he'll be in the discussion for the national team one day. Hopefully he is able to contribute in his first full season as a professional.

For now we'll see Hernandez fight it out for a spot on the US U20 World Cup qualifying team.

Eric Alexander Talks To Jeff Carlisle - ESPN (bottom of the page)

Lots of people around the league wonder exactly why FC Dallas dumped Dax McCarty the way they did in the offseason. Well it was mainly because they saw more potential in Alexander. Sounds like Alexander is ready to handle any pressure that is coming his way though.

The Throw-In: The Cafetero revolution continues | Major League Soccer

A nice look at all the Colombian influence in MLS right now. Large part of course goes to FC Dallas and league MVP David Ferreira. I have a feeling we're only seeing the beginning of this type of thing out of Colombia. Let's just hope FC Dallas gets on the right end of it like they have with Ferreira.

FCD's Chávez building on breakout 2010 season | Major League Soccer

Martin Chavez hopes to have a strong 2011 after finishing last year in good fashion. He's had a nice winter too helping Honduras capture the Copa Centroamericana in a 2-1 victory over Costa Rica last month. I thought as important as it was for FCD to re-sign Ferreira this winter, it was equally as important to get this guy back too. As we saw in the playoffs last year Chavez can be a terror in the midfield for other teams. I can still see the Western Conference title game in LA now and how Chavez helped FCD go through to the MLS Cup.

Total Soccer with Bobby Rhine: Feb. 3 | FC Dallas

Need a little Bobby Rhine on this Thursday evening? Here is his latest podcast that talks about trialist Maykel Galindo, European movement and more.

The Jeff Cunningham Question - 3RD Degree - FC Dallas Blog - ESPN Dallas

Buzz Carrick continues in his preseason question series. This time it's about what the club will do to replace Jeff Cunningham. Buzz sees academy standout Ruben Luna to have a breakout year here now that Cunningham is out of the picture. I for one agree with that but I also think should Galindo work out for the club, things could be all set offensively. The club just needs to find that 10 goal scorer for the year in my mind and if its Milton Rodriguez, Luna, Galindo, or even Peri Marošević.

Dynamo get green light to build stadium | Houston Dynamo

Not FCD related but the rivals to the south (finally) get their own stadium to call their own. Good for them. I may go into a stadium discussion between Pizza Hut Park and the new Dynamo Stadium here soon. Looks like the Dynamo have learned from PHP's mistakes.
