Just two weeks ago, FC Dallas traveled down to Corpus Christi, taking a knife to a gun fight in a 4-0 loss to Houston Dynamo. Today FCD gets a chance for early redemption as Dallas will again face Houston, this time with the Walt Disney Pro Soccer Classic on the line.

Today may be just another pre-season game, but make no mistake there is definitely something on the line tonight in Orlando. That 4-0 defeat will be a distant memory if Dallas can produce a good performance tonight, but another defeat to Houston could begin to creep into the heads of FC Dallas.

I highly recommend heading out to Allen Wickers in Plano tonight to catch the game. FCD ticket reps will be there with buy one get one free tickets for opening day against Chicago as well as myself and other FCD fans. Kickoff is at 7PM but I'd get there a little bit early. If you can't make it, this thread is the place to discuss the game.

I expect Dallas to come out with the same lineup as Friday night against Orlando...Possible changes could be a start for Jacobson for Hernandez, Luna for Rodriguez or possibly Jacobson at CB for Loyd who picked up a little knock on Friday.

Today is extremely important for Maykel Galindo and Scott Gordon. After tonight's game, Dallas heads back to Frisco for just a couple of days before going to Arizona. I expect that the team that is taken to Arizona will the mostly the 30 players that are here on opening day so this is the last time for Galindo and Gordon, the two guys closest to getting roster spots, to impress Hyndman. Personally, I'd like to see Galindo given 45 minutes.

For Houston, there will be no Brian Ching tonight which is a big help to the FCD defense who had major problems with his presence in the box on set plays.

Speaking of set plays, Dallas must not foul Houston close to the box as Brad Davis is in midseason form. He scored a brilliant free kick against Dallas and did it again Friday night
