Yesterday was the team's final practice in Frisco before traveling to Corpus Christi today. FC Dallas faces the Houston Dynamo Saturday at Whataburger Field in their first action since the 2010 MLS Cup, with the match scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. CT. will be streaming the game for those like myself who cannot attend. Daniel however will be making the treck down to cover the game.

Now I have no idea who that last person is, only a couple guesses. Possibly another academy player. It's kind of hard considering the club has a long list of players out hurt:

Zach Loyd, Kyle Davies, Heath Pearce, Daniel Hernandez, George John, Edson Edward, Ugo Ihemelu.

This game will be very interesting considering the lack of training outdoors the club has gotten so far this winter. I am kind of wondering if the later start to the preseason is going to come back and bite them in the butt. I know hindsight is 20/20 but had the club started preseason a week earlier they could have at least gotten a full week of training outdoors before the winter weather hit Dallas last week. Having three days indoors and a couple practices canceled are tough for a team with loads of young players trying to prove themselves.

I'd imagine we'll see plenty of the younger players in the game against Houston this weekend, particularly the trialists, rookies and new signees.
