Matchday 31: FC Dallas at Colorado Rapids

Sorry guys work all day Friday and Saturday makes this one short and sweet

Game notes

Injury report No Conor Casey or Anthony Wallace for Colorado, both are out for the season. Dallas is only missing David Ferreira and does not have anyone suspended. This is probably the first time in months that everyone is available for selection

Rested players Brek Shea, Jackson, Villar and Hernandez are completely rested for this one and should be counted on heavily tonight. When a team is struggling, the leaders need to step up. I'm looking at you Hernandez and Shea.

Rapids struggle at home Only 5 wins at home this season for Colorado, the same amount of wins Dallas has on the road. This one is there for the taking tonight.

Huge playoff seed implications Dallas sits 4 points ahead of Colorado with a game in hand meaning with a win tonight Dallas will assure themselves of finishing no lower than 4th. A draw would all but clinch that while a loss throws everything out of whack. Any sort of result for Dallas tonight is very beneficial.

REFEREE: Silviu Petrescu.

SAR (bench): Daniel Belleau; JAR (opposite): Joe Fletcher;

4th: Paul Ward

Colorado left all their starters at home for the trip to El Salvador midweek meaning coach Gary Smith is putting a ton of focus on this one. Given the way Dallas is playing right now it's tough to expect much from this. My predictions are always wrong though so take heart in that.

2-1 Rapids
