The first action I've been able to watch of Marvin Chavez playing for Honduras left me extremely impressed. Chavez came off the bench with 30 minutes to go in Honduras' semifinal match against El Salvador with the score tied 0-0.

Chavez would go on to make a huge impact for los catrachos, first receiving the ball at midfield and proceeding to earn a corner with his fantastic run. Honduras would score from that corner to take a 1-0 lead, then with time running out and El Salvador pushed forward, Hondruas would hit them on the break.

Walter Martinez received the ball in midfield with just one defender between him and goal. His excellent run pulled both the defender and goalkeeper away from the net leaving Martinez to slide a pass across to Chavez who finished easily to score his second ever goal for Honduras and seal a 2-0 victory.

El hijo del viento is clearly in great form ahead of FCD pre-season.

Honduras will face the winner of the Costa Rica vs Panama match in the Central American Cup Final.

Head to my qik page to see video of both goals http://qik.com/bigdsoccer ...This video was taken from my phone recording the TV so it's not the greatest quality but check back later and I'll find some video from youtube as well.
