Need another soccer game to attend this summer? Look no further than this dandy that was just announced by FC Dallas.
Toyota Stadium will play host to a friendly between Liga MX teams Club Leon and Santos Laguna on Sunday, July 6 at 5 p.m. CT. These two sides squared off the the most recent Mexican playoff, where Leon came out on top.
All tickets will be $28 (general admission). Parking will still be free as well.
Heading into their first CONCACAF Champions League tournament, the two-time defending Liga MX Champions, Leon will use the friendly as a tune-up match for its Group 7 opponents. Beginning in August, Leon will compete against Isidro Metapan (El Salvador) and Belmopan Bandits (Belize) for a chance to advance to the CCL quarterfinals, which kick off in early 2015.
The Leon roster features three players (Rafa Marquez, Jose Juan Vazquez and Carlos Pena) who will be competing with the Mexico at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
