FC Dallas Injury Watch: Week 4

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The list is starting to grow.

The injury report is out for this weekend's game for FC Dallas and Oscar Pareja has plenty of names headlining the list.

Questionable: George John (right knee), Raul Fernandez (sports hernia), Zach Loyd (right hip), Walker Zimmerman (groin), Adam Moffat (hamstring), Andrew Jacobson (ankle), Andres Escobar (lower back strain)

Most fans have known about Jacobson and Moffat's inclusion on this list since last week's game when both went out of the game early against Chivas USA with an injury.

Fernandez and Loyd appear to be the players that are the closest to returning here though. Both appeared in the Reserve League game last week, with Loyd going 70 minutes. I would venture to guess that Loyd could see the bench this weekend at the most, which is a positive thing no less.

Escobar is an interesting one to keep an eye on here. This is going to be the second straight week that the Colombian will be absent after appearing in the first two games. Seeing a lower back strain for the reasoning just sparks thoughts of what the club had to deal with Eric Hassli. While I don't think it will come to that level of frustration that the club had with Hassli and his back, but it is something to be a tad worried about here early on.
