Fabian Castillo Earns Goal of the Week

Castillo's second goal of the season wins top goal for Week 3.

The FC Dallas fans have done it! Fabian Castillo scored in the 71st-minute after Mauro Díaz whipped in a free kick from 30 yards that midfielder Hendry Thomas nodded toward the center of the box, where Castillo pounced on the opportunity and rifled the ball into the back of the net with a one-time effort.

Castillo was voted Week 3's AT&T MLS Goal of the Week winner by a sizeable margin. Castillo claimed more than 55 percent of the week's vote for his close-range strike in FC Dallas' 3-1 victory over Chivas USA. The total was more than double of that from runner-up Bernardo Añor of the Columbus Crew.

Final Votes - Week 3:

1. Fabián Castillo (DAL): 55.23%
2. Bernardo Añor (CLB): 21.76%
3. Álvaro Saborío (RSL): 11.62%
4. Erick "Cubo" Torres (CHV): 6.5%
5. Robbie Keane (LA): 4.9%

Way to go FC Dallas fans for voting Castillo as the top goal. While some won't agree with it, we can take some satisfaction in seeing this happen.
