I suppose you are like me and didn't make it down to Jamaica for tonights' big CONCACAF World Cup qualifier between the US National team and Jamaica.
Sure, it will be tough for some of you to not root for FC Dallas midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson in this one as he takes on Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore. But you can probably hide the fact that you are quietly rooting on a FC Dallas player while drinking with some US fans at these bars below.
Trinity Hall (Mockingbird Station)
Always a good location to watch a game. Plenty of good beer, decent food. They have a huge list of games streaming today at the bar. Certainly worth checking out if you are free all day.
Staggering Irishman (North Dallas/Plano, off Preston Rd.)
I love this bar, not only because it is close to my house but because the food is most excellent. The place should be pretty packed tonight for the US game. Come for the food and beer, stay for the three points for the US.
Allen Wickers (Plano, off 75)
A good venue for North Dallas folks. A bunch of us FC Dallas fans watched last year's MLS Cup there and had a decent time in the process from what I recall. Decent beer selection there as well.
This is usually my spot on game days for FC Dallas up in Frisco. But all locations should be streaming the game from what I am told. Pick a location close to you and enjoy!
Are there any other bars that you go to watch soccer at? List them below in the comments section! Hopefully you all get to go out tonight and cheer on the US!
