FC Dallas Injury Watch: Tired Legs More Than Anything Ahead Of Portland Match

How will that bench be used this weekend Schellas? - Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Could tired legs be the biggest issue ahead of the Portland match?

Earlier in the week FC Dallas manager Schellas Hyndman told reporters that having last weekend off certainly helped the majority of the team out for getting over injuries.

Before the US Open Cup game with Houston on Wednesday he said that really the team only had two injuries to be concerned about, rookie defender Walker Zimmerman's hamstring strain that he suffered a couple weeks ago in the third round of the US Open Cup and for Homegrown midfielder Victor Ulloa, who took a knock on his knee last week.

Naturally, Zimmerman is really the bigger concern of the two as Ulloa has yet to get any playing time this season.

IR: Ugo Ihemelu (concussion symptoms), Peter Luccin (torn ACL)

Questionable: Walker Zimmerman (hamstring strain)

But going into the weekend the injury report looks pretty good for FC Dallas but the quick turn around may mean that there are more tired legs than actual injuries. The club got to Portland yesterday afternoon to hope to combat the quick turn around as much as possible.

As we know Dallas played 10 starters on Wednesday, with most going the full 90.
