It is time once again for your weekly FC Dallas Fantasy Manager fix.
FC Dallas returns home this weekend to face Western Conference rivals the LA Galaxy in a big home game. A win would keep Dallas on top of the conference for another week.
Just like every week in the game, you are given three spots to use with any one club. So which FC Dallas players are worth taking this weekend? Let's find out.
David Ferreira ($9.3M, 32 points) - The former MVP hasn't done a lot against the Galaxy in the past but then again he was also injured for some of the last meetings with the Galaxy in 2011 and 2012. He played in last year's loss at home in the late summer against the Galaxy but I look for Ferreira to have a big impact on Saturday's game. He is a little pricy to pick up in the midfield but for those with Graham Zusi (SKC is off this week), Ferreira would be a good swap on the price.
Three pack for Week 7
If you aren't looking to go with a high pickup like Ferreira, here are three others you should look at for this weekend's match.
Michel ($5.4M, 37 points) - The Brazilian will have his hands full in this one but I like his chances to get points yet again due to his set piece services. LA does defend set pieces fairly well with their size in the back but I like his ability to pick out the right guy in the box like he did last week against Toronto.
Jackson Goncalves ($8M, 37 points) - Jackson has always done well against the Galaxy. His speed offers up something that they struggle to deal with and if he is able to stretch the field with it and find someone like Blas Perez, he should see plenty of points. Jackson's assist numbers should continue to climb here in the coming weeks too. Also, Galaxy keeper Carlo Cudicini is one that does give up a dumb goal from time to time; we all know how Jackson does with keeper blunders here.
Andrew Jacobson ($6.1M, 31 points) - He's underrated in this game if you ask me. Solid point total for a cheaper midfielder. You can't ask for more than that.
Fabian Castillo ($8.4M, 23 points) - Castillo will likely be off the bench again in this one but his speed is something that LA could have trouble with, especially in late game situations.
