Texan impresses in reserve match vs Burnley...EPL debut next?

It looks like Brek Shea is having no trouble adjusting to life with Stoke City. In his first match with the club, Brek scored on a header from a corner in the second half of Stoke's 2-1 reserve team loss to Burnley. As far as I can remember, Brek never scored from a corner in his time in Dallas so it seems he's really hit the ground running.

City were much improved in the second-half and managed to get on the score-sheet through debutant Shea. The tall left winger, who looked lively throughout the match, met Adam's corner and placed his header into the bottom corner of the net.

Shea featured in a strong Stoke lineup including guys like Michael Owen, Charlie Adam and Wilson Palacios.

It seems exceedingly likely that Shea could make his EPL debut next Saturday as Stoke travels to London to face Fulham FC, a fitting place for the Texan to make his Premier League bow.
