French forward apparently close to joining FC Dallas from Toronto FC via trade
Fernando Clavijo is apparently wasting no time in spending some of the Brek Shea money. FC Dallas tweeted from their official account late this afternoon that the team is near finalizing a move for Toronto FC forward Eric Hassli.
NEWS: #FCDallas is in talks with Toronto FC and close to finalizing a deal to bring Eric Hassli to Dallas.

Traded to TFC in the middle of the 2012 season, Hassli grabbed 5 goals and 5 assists in nearly 2,000 MLS minutes last season, though he is best remembered for his 10-goal campaign in 2011.
Hassli, a designated player with TFC, has reportedly been looking for a move away from Toronto FC for some time and Dallas looks to be the ones facilitating that move.
On the surface, this move is one that fills a backup forward need for Dallas, but I'd like to know more about how much of his DP salary Dallas is picking up as well as his health status. This is likely the first of a few moves coming over the next couple weeks as FCD uses some of their money from the Brek Shea transfer.
