As if FC Dallas fans didn't need any more confirmation that Brek Shea was likely on his way out. His possible destination, EPL side Stoke City, has released a statement regarding his pending transfer with the English side. Stoke City manager Tony Pulis declared his intention to sign Shea.
"I think it is close now, and we are hoping that we can get that deal done in the next day or so," Pulis said following the 2-2 draw with the Latics, a game at which the winger was a spectator ahead of him undergoing the medical.
"Brek is a very, very exciting player, and one who we believe could go on to become a very good player for the Football Club.
"He has terrific pace, a very good left foot and he is capable of scoring goals. If you look at the clippings of him on the internet then you will see what he is all about. I believe he has all the tools needed to be a success here, so hopefully we can get the deal done."
Just as it has previously been reported, everything is pending Shea's physical with the club on Thursday.
Once we know that the deal is official we will be quick to let you know the details.
