The Red Devils are back and have a point to prove.
After falling to Coritiba in last year's fantastic Dallas Cup championship match, Manchester United U19 will be returning to the Gordon Jago Super Group at Dr Pepper Dallas Cup for the second straight year.
With a squad loaded with European youth internationals, United rolled through last year's tournament beating FC Dallas and Everton en route to the championship match, but a game Coritiba side got the better of them in the final. The addition of Man United means we now know nine of the twelve super group teams and it looks to be the most international field we've ever seen:
Aalborg BK (Denmark), Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Fulham FC (England), Manchester United (England), Fluminense FC (Brazil), Coritiba FC (Brazil), Tigres UANL (Mexico), Club America (Mexico), Kashiwa Reysol (Japan).
As you may know, Dr Pepper Dallas Cup is returning to the city of Dallas for the first time since 2005 with the stadium games headed to the Cotton Bowl while tournament games will take place at UT-Dallas and Richland College.
