FCD Homegrown left back following coach Ronald Gonzalez to Costa Rica?

Moises Hernandez is becoming quite experienced in Central America.

Having just completed a successful loan spell with Comunicaciones in which he won the Guatemalan league championship, Hernandez looks to be following coach Ronald Gonzalez to Costa Rican giants Deportivo Saprissa.

Tonight, on their official website, Saprissa released a statement saying they have reached a preliminary agreement with Hernandez to join the Costa Ricans on loan from FC Dallas.

An FCD source I reached out to earlier today indicated that the deal is not completely done yet and that nothing is official.

Hernandez posted "Going to Costa Rica tomorrow" Tuesday night on his Facebook page, so it certainly does seem that pending a physical, the loan deal will go through.

Perhaps the most encouraging aspect of this potential loan is the fact that his coach from Comunicaciones thought highly enough of Hernandez to bring him along to his new club in Costa Rica. A move to 29-time Costa Rican and 3-time CONCACAF champion Saprissa would certainly be a huge step up for Hernandez as he gains valuable experience.

Hernandez, who turns 21 in March, made his professional debut with FC Dallas in a US Open cup loss to the Charlotte Eagles.
