Shea falls from Number 1 in 2011 to Number 3.
I love reading what some of the coaches had to say about him:
"Literally no limit in terms of potential ... MVP-level talent ... He's fast, big, strong and he wants to go at players ... Very versatile player ... Very, very good when going to goal and can go to goal from anywhere on the field ... He's big, strong, fast, good touch ... Tremendous talent ... Last year, he showed what a great player he can be ... He's got a tremendous future ... Speed, dribbling ability, a left foot and, at 6-foot-4, that's a lot of assets."
Shea's 2012 season hasn't mirrored his 2011 campaign that saw him as a finalist for the league MVP award. But things have improved in the last few weeks for the young winger. He helped the US score a massive win in Mexico for the first time ever and he's been a big part of the playoff push for FC Dallas.
I'm sure Daniel will have more on this impressive nod for Shea later on.
