FC Dallas (19 points, 4-10-7) hosts Portland Timbers (19 points 5-10-4) tonight in a crucial matchup that will decide who pulls out of the Western Conference cellar.
The lineups are in and Brek Shea will not play a part in tonight's match while Scott Sealy is given a start up front. For Portland, Kris Boyd and Jack Jewsbury both on the bench tonight while Eric Alexander starts with Mike Fucito and Danny Mwanga up top.
FC Dallas XI: Hartman, Loyd, Hedges, Pertuz, Benitez, Hernandez, Jacobson, Jackson, Rodriguez, Ferreira, Sealy
Bench: Seitz, John, Leyva, Luna, De Guzman, Marcelin, Villar
Portland XI: Perkins, Chabala, Kimura, Mosquera, Danso, Songo'o, Alhassan, Alexander, Chara, Fucito, Mwanga
Prediction: I like FC Dallas to break their franchise-record 7 game winless streak tonight with a retooled lineup. I'm intrigued by how Sealy does with Ferreira behind him and I think Dallas gets a couple goals tonight
2-0 FC Dallas
